New arrival

1. Funagata Bag by Kazumi Takigawa
Being made of waxed cotton and dyed with recycled materials such as coffee and tea, she produces each piece by herself.
She's been working mainly for gallery and some selected stores in Japan and now her name is well known worldwide among the enthusiasts who values textiles and design, and always long waiting time to get her bags.
Now I'm happy to announce you that I received some of her bags again after 10 months of waiting.

2. Indigo Haori jacket by Yohaku
This beautiful Indigo jackets came to the world from an idea, when the designer of Yohaku and an indigo dye atelier in Saitama decided to create something between new and old using their dead stock fabrics.
The aesthetic of these jackets come not only from outside, but also inside lining where Tenugui cotton fabric from Ahiroya is used.

3. Green tea by Kaei
Yoshito, the owner this family-run tea company, Kaei, in Wazuka, Kyoto, where is the main region of Uji tea, he produces Sencha, Genmaicha, Hojicha, and Matcha tea.
I am big fan of his Hojicha (roasted green tea) and have been drinking last 3 years and strongly empathise his philosophy, not only regarding his tea production, but also regarding his concern of the ecosystem of earth.
From observing of his tea field everyday, he has concluded, that there is no single creature not necessary on the earth. All creatures have their own rolls and live together, and to respect it during his tea growing is the only way to produce good, safe green tea.

4. Textile products by Emiko Tsuchiya
Growing cottons in her own cotton field in Nara, she produces textile products such as table mat, pot holders, and coasters. I've never felt such warmness from a fabric like her textile has.
This size of table mats are exclusively made for me to adjust to the European cuisine culture.
