Dr. Higa on ARTE

Prof. Higa, the discoverer of EM and the founder of EMRO Japan, appears in the documentary program "Low Tech on the High Seas," aired on the French/German TV station ARTE(available online on arte.tv until May 5).
The purpose of this program is to sail around the world on the catamaran "Nomade des mers" to find ingenious low-tech solutions to the world's problems. In Okinawa, they came to learn "Bokashi composting" from Prof. Higa.

It’s a great opportunity to learn what EM and Bokashi are all about.
EM technique is applicable in diverse areas of living. The skin care products available at Onoda such as shampoos and soaps are made based on this EM technique.

In this documentary not only Prof. Higa explains about EM, but also he is expressing how he closely live with nature all his life. His attitude and expression on his face tells us how passionately he has been and still seeking the harmonised living with nature. How many people still can be laughing and smiling like him at his age - it can be achieved not only by only talking, but by actually doing and living with it.
