Sashiko repair

At the beginning I softly refused to take this order, as a repair on knitwear is not my area (normally darning technique is suitable for this kind of order). But as the owner of this fine cashmere pullover would like rather get it updated with a Sashiko style and gave all her trust on my sense and skill, I honourably took her order.

I didn’t want to disturb this luxury textile with a lousy mending, so I kept everything decent and tried not too much on it, while still making something interesting happening on the pattern. The outcome is like a bit of snow which surly will be harmonised in winter.

My customer was so happy with the outcome and I’m very happy too.
