Binchotan - Water Purifying Active Coal

Water Purifying
After rinsing one active coal, boil it in low heat for ca. 10 minute to remove dust. Put it into ca. 1l water jar and leave over night. The active coal absorbs unwanted elements from the tab water, while making the water milder and tastier.

Cooking Rice

Put one active coal on the top of rice and cook normally. Rice becomes shiny and tastier. After each use, rinse and dry well.

Maintenance
Boil the active coal in a low heat every 10 days (or whenever you see the poured water not smooth anymore). This renews the purifying effect of coal. The purifying effect of each coal lasts ca. for 3 to 4 months.

Once the life of a coal ended, you could burn it until it becomes ash and use them for the gardening. It helps balancing PH level in the soil.

This charcoals are sold as the water purifying active coal. Please do not use for grilling, especially used one or wenn it’s wet.
