Apéro on 12. December 2019 - EXCAVATION

We are very happy to invite you to Apéro event on 12. December to introduce you new jewellery brand, SIRI SIRI from Tokyo and new print series by Bienvenue Studios from Zurich. Designers of both brands are present and personally show you their work.

The story began during the Master of Arts in Design at the Bern University of the Arts, HKB, where the two designers of Bienvenue Studios, Xiaoqun Wu and Oliver Hischier met Naho Okamoto, designer and founder of SIRI SIRI.

Naho Okamoto started her own jewelry brand SIRI SIRI in 2006. The brand signature products are with sophisticated contemporary Japanese design realized by the local traditional craftsmanship. Through the collaborations with Japanese traditional techniques including Edo Kiriko (glass cutting artisan work in Tokyo), SIRI SIRI had became one of the most successful young Jewelry brand in Tokyo. In this event SIRI SIRI introduces the items from her signature collection KIRIKO and new collection EXCAVATION, both pieces are made of glass material which represents the designer’s pure perspective on material and nature.

Bienvenue Studios is a Zurich-based design studio. They are dedicated to the creation of artisan prints and various products that are related to nature. As graphic designers they apply their core competence, Biophilic Design, to various materials and surfaces. For example, they developed the new branding for Onoda.
For this evening they present their new print series "Helvetic Treasures", in short: Swiss Minerals.

Together with SIRI SIRI's glass jewellery and Bienvenue Studio's mineral prints, we will take you into the world of EXCAVATION, the origin of primitive nature.

SIRI SIRI showcases the pieces that are available to order. Due to high demand and limited production, only few pieces are available to purchase on this event. Therefore, we are very happy to take an order.
