Pre Christmas season

The wonderful diverse artisan pieces have arrived from Japan. For this year for Christmas season, I picked the objects that bring you more blessing of earth and handwork. Pottery by Kae Takada is made solely by hand without wheeling machine. The texture of her work has bronzy, rusty surface which makes whole object so outstanding and unique. I waited for her work for one year and a half - and I see now it was worthwhile.

From Japanese candles made from wax tree fruits and Washi-paper by HAZE to hand woven textile products by Tsuchiya Orimono, each piece has unique texture and colour that give us joy and feeling of peacefulness. Furthermore, the artisan scent by Aoiro Design is created by Scent Designer, Shizuko Yoshikuni. Her scent is inspired by Japanese traditional ingredient, yet created with modern and European twist, in contrast to the scent by DI SER whose perfume is more dominated by Aloewood which is the most important ingredient in Japanese Scent Ceremony.

Lastly I'd like to remind you about the event taken place at Onoda on Thursday 12. Dezember from 5 to 8pm - we will hold an Apéro exhibition together with Japanese jewellery brand, SIRI SIRI, and Swiss graphic design studios, Bienvenue Studios. Designers of both brands are present personally to introduce you their work.
