5. May, Rikka (立夏) - the Start of summer

Today 5. May is the beginning of the seventh season in the twenty-four seasons solar year.

The flogs are getting waken up and start croaking in the field., the worms are coming out of ground, and the bamboo shoots grow in the bamboo grove.

Rikka is in the middle period between the vernal equinox and the summer solstice. We can enjoy seeing the verdure and it becoming more green everyday.
